donderbezem One of my favorite splits of the year. I'm new to End, I'll be looking for more from them, but I have been following Torrid Husk for a bit. Both sides are solid. If I had to be critical the drumming on the Torrid Husk material, while seriously impressive, can be a bit over bearing at times. I think that might be a result of the mix on this release, as I thought they had struck a good balance previously.

DiscipleOfSound Torrid Husk is, in my opinion, one of the best black metal bands out there. They are heavy, dark, beautiful, and depressive all that the same time. I'm new to End, but I can already tell I'll be buying some more music from them in the future. They do a great job of keeping things tight and grim (and I can't argue with an Amebix cover). This split is a giant wave of feeling, coming up to you and devouring you whole. You need this in your life. 10/10 Favorite track: Mourning Cloak Spell.
